🎉 Happy 1st Birthday to Fringe & Form!
One year ago, I opened the doors to our boutique in Carmel City Center. What a year it has been—full of stories, transformation, connection, and purpose. As we celebrate this milestone, I want to share the heart behind Fringe & Form and how it all came to life.
Fringe & Form isn’t just a store—it’s a space born from deep personal transformation. It’s where faith, fashion, and purpose come together to help women feel seen, valued, and confident.
The vision came after walking through some very difficult seasons—obesity, teenage pregnancy, poverty, abuse, depression, divorce, breast implant illness, and career upheaval. But through it all, I found healing, hope, and a God who met me right in the middle of the mess.
Clothing became more than what I wore. It became a creative outlet—a way to express who I was becoming. I’ve dressed myself at every size, from a 22 to a 0 (and no, I’m not a 0 now!). What I’ve learned is that style isn’t about a number—it’s about intention. It’s about letting the outside reflect the beauty and worth already inside.
After over 25 years in healthcare and a short stint in tech, I realized just how much of my identity was tied to my work. My title, my credentials, being the one people came to—it had become who I was. I had spent decades performing, achieving, and striving. When I found myself unemployed, I had to ask: Who am I without all of that?
That “coming to Jesus” moment was pivotal. I realized I’m still the same person who wants to bring healing, make an impact, and serve others—just in a different way. God reminded me that I was created a masterpiece. My existence alone is enough. I am enough. I am loved, and I have value.
Fringe & Form was born from that truth. It’s a place where women—especially those in transition—can feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether you’re walking through divorce, weight changes, career shifts, or simply feeling lost in your style, we meet you where you are.
Sometimes it looks like styling. Sometimes it’s therapy in the fitting room. Sometimes we’re praying with women—or simply praying for the ones God puts in our path. We also partner with nonprofits to give hope to women starting over. Every bit of it is sacred to me.
We get to witness powerful moments—women standing taller, smiling in the mirror for the first time in years. That’s success. That’s the kind of profit that matters most.
Fringe & Form isn’t just about beautiful clothing—it’s about becoming. It’s about stepping into who God created you to be.
Because you are not broken.
You are becoming.
And as I always say:
You are a Masterpiece, so dress like one!
